Mityana Chief Magistrates Court today held its quarterly District Chain-linked Committee (DCC) Meeting at the Court.
The meeting chaired by His Worship Osauro John Pauls, the Chief Magistrate Mityana was attended by the RDC Mityana, Mr. Mukiini J. Drake and the Assistant RDC, the Vice Chairperson Mityana, the three mayors of the Divisions of Busimbi, Ttamu and Central Division of Mityana Municipality.
Also in attendance were the Magistrates Grade I of Mityana; HW Wakooli Grace and HW Obed Mugizi.
There was also a team from Police led by the DPCSSP Hasunira Ahmed, Prisons, local leaders and Civil Society.
The meeting agreed to different issues including prioritizing juvenile justice, holding joint community awareness Barazas, to coordinate and cooperate with all stakeholders.
The meeting also agreed that the authorities in charge do not criminalize land cases and the prosecution of errant motorists who have led to increasing cases of road accidents in Mityana.
